Bad luck for Barca and Milan
This year, not the path of the volcano but Barca are not even flat. Yes one day before thefirst leg match between Barcelona and Milan at San Siro (28/3), in Spain will be held ageneral strike on a large scale. This means the airport will likely shut down and forced them to move sooner. Even if the strike lasts, the risk to travel by bus is real.
Each team is a problem
Travelling by road from Barcelona to Milan will consume a lot of time and resources thatcould be affected, while a few days before they returned from Mallorca in the Liga match.Inter defeat in the past has become a warning to Barca.
Conversely, Milan are faced with another problem, injuries. In the list of invalids of theRossoneri are 10 names Robinho, Clarence Seedorf, Alessandro Nesta, AlexandrePato, Flamini, Merkel, Cassano, Strasser, Kevin-Prince Boateng, Maxi López, Gennaro Gattuso and Ignazio Abate. Those who can return before the big fight with Robinho,Seedorf, Gattuso, Lopez, Boateng.
Nesta, Pato, Flamini, Abate will be racing against time and those who are definitelyabsent Merkel, Strasser, Cassano and Mark Van Bommel (suspension).

Are Liverpool fans happy with being a midtable team?
Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish has blamed ‘fatigue’ for yesterdays terrible 2-1 home defeat against Wigan.
It was Liverpool’s third defeat out of their last four Premier League games and it’s starting to get worrying for Reds fans.
Fatigue
The Liverpool boss told Sky Sports: “ I just don’t think we’ve had the freshness that we’ve had in many other games. Today, I think it’s the toll of three games in six days, which is difficult for the big number of them who participated in each of the three games.
“We tried to play, we tried to pass it, but we just couldn’t play. They’re all capable of passing to their team-mates, very capable of precise passing.
“We just need to brush ourselves down and get on with it and if we do want to take this club forward we have to be able to deal with three games in six days. To do that you need a bit of luck with injuries and getting people in to strengthen the squad and make it a bit deeper if we’re going to have that sort of schedule. ”
Squad
Liverpool should have a big enough squad to cope with injuries and tiredness, unfortunately they don’t seem to at the moment. Kenny Dalglish spent a fortune in the summer on players like Stewart Downing, Charlie Adam and Jordan Henderson. All three players have been hit and miss in their first season at the club.
These players haven’t performed well enough for the Reds this season. The trio has proved themselves to be very average players over the course of the season. Striker Andy Carroll has proved a massive flop in his 15 months at the club. Dalglish’s policy of signing mainly British players is just not working.
The only two signings from the Scot that have proved relatively successful are full-back Jose Enrique and striker Luis Suarez, and the Suarez deal was basically complete before Dalglish was installed as Liverpool boss.
Cups
Liverpool have already won the Carling Cup this season and are in the semi-finals of the FA Cup. If Liverpool can win the FA Cup then surely their season will be judged a success. However the cup wins will just be covering over the cracks of a poor Premier League campaign.
Most Liverpool fans are pretty knowledgeable about the game and they realise that winning the two cups doesn’t mean the club has moved much further forward from last season.
Legend
Kenny Dalglish is a club legend and the board realise that he is doing a decent job but he’s not doing an outstanding job. Dalglish won’t be sacked while he is still doing a decent job. It would take a really dramatic fall from grace for Dalglish to be sacked by Liverpool.
I don’t think many Liverpool fans would want Kenny to be treated badly. They wouldn’t want him sacked but I’m sure Kenny Dalglish will know when he has taken the club as far as he can. I think he will know when to walk away from the job.
Summer
This summer will be a vital one for Kenny Dalglish and Liverpool Football Club. The Reds are an ambitious club with a big history and should really be higher in the Premier League table than seventh.
Rightly or wrongly the Liverpool fans expect better than that. The signings that Dalglish make this summer will determine whether Liverpool can challenge at the top of the Premier League table next season.
Kenny Dalglish’s signings in his second spell have been poor so far. However this summer he will have the chance to put things right. I have no doubts that Liverpool will improve their squad this summer and that the team will finish higher up in the Premier League table next season.

10 Things You Didn’t Know About Lionel ‘Leo’ Messi
Lionel Messi is widely considered to be the best player in the world at the moment and some even believe the Argentine is the best to have ever played the beautiful game. At 23 years of age he has accomplished much more than anyone could have hoped for and his life is pretty much an open book for soccer betting fans around the globe. However, there are some things that you probably didn’t know about the Barcelona star.
1.) Messi’s style of play, impressive technical skills and small physique earned him comparisons with the legendary Diego Armando Maradona, and it is interesting that the Barcelona forward managed to mimic Maradona’s two most famous goals he had scored in the World Cup game against England. Messi first scored a brilliant goal after a solo effort against Getafe, before scoring with his hand against Espanyol in the very same season.
2.) Messi was asked to play for Spain national team, but decided to wait for a call-up from Argentina. Had he accepted a call from La Furia Roja, the Argentine would now have probably owned a World Cup winner’s medal.
3.) His debut for Argentina only lasted for around 40 seconds. That was the time he spent on the pitch before being sent off. The fact that he hadn’t deserved the red card was probably poor consolation at the time.
4.) You may be surprised to hear that not only girls drop their pants in front of Messi, but some guys as well. A man was so desperate to get a picture with Messi that he chased the Argentine around the airport and when he finally thought he had caught him, a clothing failure prevented him from accomplishing his mission.
5.) In March 2010 Messi became UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador and he now works with the organization helping children around the globe.
6.) While the whole world loves watching Messi from the comfort of their homes, the Barcelona star once said that he never watched highlights of himself.
7.) In the Champions League game against Panathinaikos, a Greek fan invaded the pitch only to show Messi the middle finger, probably tired of constantly watching the Argentine making fun of PAO’s defence.
8.) He won the 2009 Ballon d’Or award in front of Cristiano Ronaldo, by collecting 473 out of possible 480 votes. How do you think the Portuguese handled the results?
9.) Barcelona signed the Argentine when he was just 13 with the scouts needing just half an hour to realize the player’s massive potential. That will soon prove to be one of the best decisions in the history of football.
10.) Following Barcelona’s 6:2 victory over Real at Santiago Bernabeu, Messi achieved the unthinkable and received standing ovation from the home fans, having scored two goals to help his side record a memorable win. Cristiano Ronaldo would have nothing against getting the same treatment at Camp Nou, but Real will first have to beat Barca for that to happen.
